[To say Xaio was on edge over this whole ordeal was something of an understatement. Between getting teleported to various places against his will, to being surrounded by humans and other fragile beings, he was as tense and irritable as a caged beast.
His first reaction to the situation was to simply try and teleport himself back out. He vanishes in a blink of an eye only to... immediately reappear in the exact same spot. He let out an irritated growl before trying once again, but with a far less ambitious destination in mind.
This time he at least succeeds in teleporting to the other side of the room, as far as he could from the throng of people. Still, he paced anxiously, and clearly remained tense and agitated.]
[EXPLORATION-Frostreign]
[The first opportunity he got to leave the large cities, Xiao took it without so much as a second thought. Against his usual preference for remaining alone, he picked up a travel partner for the journey. Likely he felt compelled to protect them. This may not be Liyue but he did swear and oath to protect... and this was the best way he felt he could fulfill it.
He was content to make most of the trip in silence, either tuning out his partner if they were the chatty sort, or both parties happy to not engage more than they had to... or the other simply realized they weren't going to get much out of Xaio after a string of one word answers.
Until the snow started falling and accumulating. He pauses only briefly to look at it.]
Once the snow is thick enough, we can eat it.
[Stated as though this is the most normal thing in the world. He clearly thinks little of it.]
[Valentines Day]
[In his attempts to learn the layout of the land, Xaio found himself stranded in the spring district during their bizarre little holiday. He... really didn't want to be here. He found himself getting pushed and guided around- apparently the locals felt that someone of his demeanor could really use a little cheer.
In hopes of appeasing them enough to leave him alone, he begrudgingly agreed to participate in their little stall games. Easy wins for him, between his natural strength and dominion over wind magic- but then there was the matter of the prizes.
With a sigh he turns to the nearest individual and points at the potential prize.]
You. Do you want this? Take it.
[Wildcard]
[Come up with your own thing? Mix and match? Have at it!]
((OOC: Xiao is heavily tainted by residual resentment of dead gods, to the point this taint subtly rubs off on the environment and those around him. Characters that can sense such things would likely notice.))
