[In an instant, the scenery around him changes. The stage he stood upon, surrounded by his friends and watched over by an enormous crowd, is gone. The various colors from all of the decorations are now pure white, even down to his clothes, and the roar of all of the people cheering with excitement has fallen into complete silence.
Kalim’s eyes, still wet with tears from the emotional outcome of the competition, take the brunt of this new reality as the cold quickly begins to freeze them upon his face, causing his skin to feel as if it’s being pinched. And since he can certainly feel that, it seems as though the elements have kindly answered his concern over whether or not he is dreaming.
He rubs his eyes, drying the rest before the cold can finish the job, and then wraps his arms around his body as he looks around. It reminds him of the edge of Scarabia’s dimension: cold and empty. But it looks like he’s not alone, and maybe it’s just him, but it seems like the others are just as confused as he is. He’s not sure what, but something must have happened at the concert venue. Maybe these others were in attendance? He makes his way over to the closest person and tries to get their attention.]
Hey! Are you all right?
[He’s shivering a bit, considerably, himself, but the most important thing for now is to make sure that everyone is okay.]
Gacha Restaurant
[Wandering the streets, the restaurant easily catches Kalim’s eye. He stands outside, looking at the window display that explains the ordering process, and as if on cue, his stomach lets out a low rumble. He had just been exerting himself on the concert stage before his arrival here, and with everything going on, of course he’s bound to be hungry by now. But… There’s just one problem.]
Wh-What should I do…? I haven’t seen Jamil at all. M-Maybe I should try to wait just a little longer.
[His stomach seems to have a lot of objections to that.]
Sheepy Sheep
Oooh, they’re so fluffy!
[Kalim can’t help but exclaim in excitement when he sees the herd, but they don’t take kindly to the outburst and instantly scatter.]
Oh— Sorry.
[He deflates, half because he feels guilty for startling them and half because he reeeeally wants to pet them. Fortunately, one of the natives hands him the shearing scissors so that he can have another chance at it. This time, he tries to be more gentle in his approach, crouching down with a hand extended, palm upward. It isn’t long before he has a taker to his offer, and he softly pets the sheep before shakily opening up the scissors. He’s… not really supposed to be playing with sharp objects. But it’s fine, right? It’s probably fine.]
All right, stay nice and still, okay? Just like… this?
[He takes the tiniest snip and finds that the wool comes off quite easily. This could work!]
