( truth of it is that kuya doesn't have much interest in using whatever these new powers are. they're child's play compared to his own and, quite frankly, he's offended at the very idea of being made to learn magic all over again. he attempted it, though, privately. the last thing he wants is a witness to whatever may happen. he decides to soothe his own ire by visiting the baths; surely that will help.
