"He laid down on an execution block and a guy cut off his head, and then he called for it to come back to him! But Elk Strength Immortal had some spirits hold onto his head, so instead he just grew a new head.

"Then Tiger Strength Immortal took his turn and had his head cut off, and called for it to come back, but when Wukong turned into a dog and dropped the head in the moat, he couldn't grow a new head like Wukong could, so he just... died. And turned back into his true form of a tiger demon."

This story is actually kind of gory now that she thinks about it.
