Apologizing is the wrong thing to do, even if he is sorry; he winces internally, but keeps it from crossing onto his face, at the very least. When she releases him, he gingerly reaches up to touch his nose, making sure that it hasn't healed crooked and needs to be re-set.

"I ran into Jean. He told me you were here, but... he also told me this place isn't real, where we are now. It's based on somewhere else."
