The call was what Mk needed to pull back. He was tempted to stay here and keep kicking them back into the darkness repeatedly. Dick needed to be safe first. MK lifted off the ground and flew at the cat. He snatched him up off the ground and flew them off and away from the darkness, back toward Nightwake.

"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice still distant and devoid of that usual softness he had. At least Mk was warm with all that energy coming off him.
