Eren listens. He tries to imagine Erwin as a cadet, though he comes up short. He's only known Erwin as the commander, and though he can see basically everything through various memories, pinning something specific down isn't very easy. Maybe with the Founder's power activated, but just with Eren's nonsense jumble of time all at once? Not really.

But then again, he literally interacted with Levi as a kid and still can't imagine him as anything but the captain. So maybe it's just an Eren problem, a lack of imagination.

"Did you win a lot?" he settles for asking.

"If we have any kind of competition, Mikasa will still kick our asses. But we could try it."
