Dick fights to keep his expression neutral as he starts to get a headache. He tries to block out the stray thoughts he's picking up from Seven But the terms still come through, the last one feeling rough like worn down glass an old pain the edge smoothed down with time.
"So you're peacekeepers and explorers in space?" Dick asked, trying to stick to the safer feeling of 'Starfleet' whatever that was. "I wish my answer was as exciting as that. I'm from a planet called Earth, It's run by humans and they haven't quite figured out the whole space thing yet. They've managed to put robots on Mars, the planet next door. But no living people yet."
