[ Festivals are from a far gone era; one that on most days feels so vast and far away... so seeing one now is a bit of a surprise to her.
Aoi herself can be found at the lanterns, however, finding herself a little curious after hearing that the thoughts and feelings of someone that she misses could reach someone. If she sees another person nearby, she decides that she needs to be brave, so she asks, her voice as soft and polite as ever: ]
Excuse me. I... do you believe that the feelings of these lanterns could even reach those in other worlds, too?
[ After all, she has many people who she would like to send lanterns to. Those who she wishes that she could apologize to properly, those who she wishes that she could say the words that she hasn't gotten the chance to say yet. ]

[ Aoi had spoken to Ruka about trying out new things... scary things. With her hyperthymesia, she remembers everything that's happened in her life, after all: both the good and the bad.
But she wants to try doing those things now that she's here, and she has the brooch in her hands to allow a ghost to possess her, but... ]

[ She can't help but muse aloud what she's thinking. She knows someone on her squad who can see ghosts, but allowing one to possess her is completely different. Perhaps she just needs a second opinion? Or someone else who is possessed to help convince her. ]
