The Welcome Center isn't crowded enough for Wilson to feel like he's taking up a seat someone else might want to use, but he still decides he can't sit and try to figure out these "computers" all day. Besides, he's heard that he can turn his new portable telephone into something resembling one -- and into a wristwatch?

So he's gotten up and is heading towards a few seats near a table closer to the door when he's addressed, and he straightens up, a little surprised but smiling at the young woman as he notices her nervousness. He can relate, frankly.

"Oh, sure! I don't mind. I am from another world -- a couple other worlds, actually -- I only just arrived myself, but if there's something I can help you with..."
