Silver looked over at that, seeing the expression on Shadow's face as he looks away. Sees the angle of the ears and body language. He munched thoughtfully for a few moments before answering.

"Hey, it worked out in the end right?" He said with a small smile. "We all make mistakes. But you were able to realize it and by the sounds of it, fix it. That's a step ahead of many folks. Trust me, I've done my fair share of screw ups." His tones were warm and genuinely kind. Not judgmental in the least. "We all have that choice to learn and be better than before." He said, not realizing that it was something similar that Sonic had said to Shadow in his own universe.

The words sounded wise for someone Silver's age to say. But he honestly had to grow up way too fast in his time period.
