"It is weird," Wash agreed, nodding his head. Taking another bite, looking Maine over.

"It isn't bad....but it is...I wouldn't say hard is the word, but it is difficult. Once you slow down, you have to deal with all the injuries left behind. The physical and..." He taps his temple. "It's like when the adrenaline leaves your body. Without having that next goal in mind, it all catches up and you gotta do something about it. It's easy to get caught in the trap of trying to find that next goal. Keep working. Keep training. Keep finding the next threat. It's hard to shut off."

There is a bit of a breathless laugh. "I thought I had a hard time, but then I saw Carolina trying to figure it out. You know how she is, she had to ask our laziest friend for lessons and it was pretty disastrous. Funny to watch though and she did kind of get somewhere."
