Well, they might lead to you being trapped in a murder fridge for one-

"More an idle challenge," Wash said. "I didn't have him disable it, but I asked him if he could, since it was the first time he really got to see tech from our time. I knew he was brilliant for his, but five centuries is a long time. He did install a code phrase if I did want to disable it though. Don't really need that these days, but hey, you never know when things will blow up in your face and you want to disappear off the grid entirely, but still stay in your universe."

He reaches the main house and the doors open and Maine is going to have a treat.

Because the house is designed for a thirteen foot wingspan, twelve foot long snekwolf, and nearly seven foot tall turtle who has an even taller brother. The place is absolutely rated for Maine to not feel crowded OR need to duck door frames!

The inside isn't pretentious, despite the Big. The walls are wood and warm, and there's pictures hanging, some for the aesthetic, others with the residents in them. There's almost definitely a pet toy around and likely some half done project. Not a mess, but the place is lived in.

The floor also has a slight echo and there's the faint sound of running water. Retractable floors that cover up the water ways that move throughout the house.

Also a very vibrant courtyard with yet more water.

Eventually Maine will probably see the Very Tol turtle in one of those pictures that will probably explain that.

Wash turn to the right to head to the kitchen. Which is absolutely kitted out with all the bells and whistles because Food Is Important to too many people in birdtile life.
