[A letter would never be a compromise when Katsuki could've been out there with him. He feels like he'd be stupid enough to tag along, if Izuku wouldn't let him stop him and that would've been better than nothing... but that's neither here nor there. They're both together again and even if they were getting strange looks, Katsuki doesn't seem to care in the slightest.

When Izuku pulls back, Katsuki does as well and he doesn't look shy at all about their little moment. What does make him shy is Izuku asking about what else he should know. The only things that are left are all the good stuff but... ugh. Talking about friends and happy things like that was so hard for Katsuki, and way more embarrassing than even pinky promising like a child.]

I keep making friends and I don't know how or why.

[Katsuki makes a face when he says that, sticking his tongue out between his little fangs in disgust.]

There's one guy in particular. This guy called Mike. He looks a lot like my old man, but he actually has a spine and teaches me a lot of stuff. And I guess I seemed extra pathetic to him with the whole arm thing, 'cuz he "adopted" me REAL quick. Started calling me his son and everything.

[No Katsuki will not tell Izuku that it was Katsuki's idea that they call each other "son" and "dad" because he was homesick and missing his parents--]

He begged me to call him "dad" in return, and as a Hero it felt wrong to say no. So... I guess that's what I call him, now.
