Figured they could beat the rain while inside of the shops but- well. The sudden downpour catching him before he could duck under some cover was... fine.]

[There was already blood dripping down along an arm, jacket sleeve torn open to where one of those horns had tried to gore him, but he managed to get himself out of the way- and held tight onto his pulse rifle- wasn't going into this just relying on what powers this place provided him with. Could only fight literal fire and a lot of bulk and strength with fire for so long before it was just
Kind of stupid, if you asked him. No matter how good someone could get with the elemental magic.
The pulse rifle fire could punch through a lot of armor after all, and he rather be prepared with what was mentioned about these gates. Also reason he'd hit up Napoleon to not head in without someone he knew could watch his back; worked well enough together, after all. Could keep up with the guy, too.
Of course the fact that the weapon was effective meant that the Minosaur got even more pissed off from actually feeling the pain when a few shots punctured the natural armor. Hard to get a steady aim to do more damage like he wanted—]
It's lashing out more erratically, might wear itself out quicker that way!
