[ Levi's apparent animosity toward Zeke's severed head is both chilling and bewildering. Zeke has never even met Levi; Reiner and Bertolt had to caution Zeke about the Captain, a warning Reiner suspects Zeke didn't take seriously. So why the extra kick? Why the insult?
Of course, Reiner can guess why. Because Zeke holds the power of one of the Nine Titans. Because too many people spotted Zeke's Titan within Wall Rose. Because Zeke is Levi's enemy.
So what does that make Reiner, who has done a hell of a lot more damage than Zeke?
He catches sight of Levi, off-balance and bandaged, leg strapped in some kind of splint. However, hot off the memory of that disastrous fight, he barely even registers the injuries. All he can see is the face of the man who nearly killed him. All he can remember is Levi barreling down, blade outstretched, pain erupting in Reiner's neck and chest. All he understands is that Levi is a threat.
Does he attack, or does he retreat? Levi is dangerous enough alone, and there could be others around. This could be an ambush.
Reiner steps back, barely noticing as he bumps into someone, knocking a bag from their hands. He doesn't apologize. His skin is a shade too pale, grip tight on his knife, eyes still locked on Levi.

He needs to get the hell out of here. ]
