[ Thankfully, he trusts Hubert to... not trust anyone enough that those slithering fiends would never even get close to him. Odd how he's adjusted to that kind of Hubert-brand rationale, huh.

And speaking of rationale, Arval warns him of the dangers of sharing so much of their future -- something about a... butterfly? He's not sure he gets it, but Shez can at least silently agree to be careful with his privileged information, so to speak. ]
