One reason Larry was hanging back, figured between the two of them there was more than enough knowledge that people would be fine. The mutterances of adapting the pokédex app would catch any stragglers on the network once they pushed it, too.
Which meant Larry could take the backseat and look into the machine in other ways. That suited him just fine, no one needed to know he was around and poking into anything.

Lemon goes pretty well with a certain dish where I'm from, how the locals eat it. [And why it went pretty well as part of his Gym's test. Gave him plenty of time to enjoy his meals.
