At least Wei Wuxian doesn't need those things to remind him of an absent husband and can simply get the fragrance from Lan Wangji himself. He also has lodgings given to new arrivals, but doesn't intend to stay anywhere his husband isn't. It would technically give them more time to find a more permanent place to live.

There is a lot to see here and that includes looking for a place they can call home. Though Wei Wuxian does know him well enough to guess what he'd like.

What the other has forgotten or is hazy, Lan Wangji remembers with far too much clarity. It's enough for one of them to hold all of that.

Tilting his head into the kiss, he stares up at Wei Wuxian's face for a moment - as if he were the one without for a long period of time.

"Mn. Someone showed me how to use the communication device." If Wei Wuxian hadn't appeared, he was going to call.

He pats Lil' Apple on the head with one hand, ensuring the bucket of food is within reach before carrying his husband out of the stall.

"I have not yet visited the room they assigned." The robes he wears may be white, but they are not his own and he is without his weapons.
