MK was so happy to see his friend. Some part of MK did notice the lack of shoving. Yeah, Mei got more hug and touching privileges than he did. MK kind of chalked it up to not being around for the training stuff and maybe the whole being enemies first thing. Which didn't make a lot of sense since Mei was too but it worked in MK's brain.

He did let go after Red Son got his balance back. The successor of the Monkey King kept on smiling though.
