"First off, the curse of the scroll is designed to torture you. Its meant to make you look at every horrible thing you've done and reflect on it and either change, or go mad," he said. He feels its important MK is aware of that. The Scroll of Memory is not a pleasant place to be. Its why he had been so terrified for his parents. "Which I imagine is a nightmare scenario for someone who doesn't want to think about sad things."

It did track. MK had always been extremely optimistic, even when he clearly had no idea what he was doing. The only time he could recall him looking down was after he had crashed on the dronecoptor, talking about taking his plan.

"As for your power, if you're afraid of it, that is going to be what happens," Red Son said. "Ruin. Destruction. Bad things. Hurting people you care about," he said, turning to the machine and switching it on. "A bit of fear can be healthy. Power can do many good things.
