He sure hoped she'd say yes, especially with the way she was staring at him (not that he knew the real reason for such a lingering gaze), and the adorable way she twirled her hair around her fingers suggesting she wasn't opposed. He was quiet while she rambled, and quiet still for a few seconds afterwards- still absently admiring her.
