The reports of disappearances were already troubling enough to Fajra, but then she realized she couldn't get a hold of Evangeline. That was enough for her to have a personal, drastic stake in the search.
Which is what leads her to the mushroom sanctuary. There's fire in her eyes, she doesn't try for stealth. Instead, she's hefting a large axe over her shoulder with one hand and casting magic with the other.
The mushroom fae are lucky she has a mind not to try to kill them. She only uses the axe to break through any physical barriers as she makes her way down. She shouts at the top of her lungs, "I'm taking those back that you kidnapped. If you stay still, you will be untouched. If anyone tries to stop me with force or magic, I'm tying you to an iron anvil and throwing you into the fucking ocean!"
Then she spots Evangeline, and all at once her expression melts. "Evangeline!" She runs over and hugs her tight. "Love, are you unhurt?" She hadn't realized that Evangeline was acting strangely just yet.
