Perhaps wind more accurately is the element of healing because wind is the element of spring, but I agree in both cases that water would be more appropriate. Winter as water suits primarily due to the associations with snow and ice, but I'd consider water to be the element of renewal, hence spring. Wind would suit winter better, from that standpoint, especially given that at least in ancient Greece, the spirit was said to leave the body through the breath, and winter is classically associated with death.

[... Although. Hmm.]

One could easily attribute all of this to differences in Ellipsa's mythology. I wonder if it's that simple.
