[Alright his ploy to be cheeky wasn't anticipating a comeback. Lesson learned.

He stalls at the question. It was quite difficult to think of such things when he was just trying to learn what he liked to begin with. Still, he was determined to see that his... older self... was happy. Or at least happier.

One thing did come to mind, it had been something that even in his slumbering state he had been aware of. The pangs of loneliness, the sorrow of being discarded by the one that should be his family. Surely those feelings would not be so easily forgotten years later.

So even if this was not truly his "brother", he could still be family couldn't he?]

By making sure you don't have to be alone anymore! We are the same, but that does not mean that we are not also family. You are still my brother, I have decided.
