Levi at least doesn't seem to be having trouble walking, quite possibly thanks to the device he's wearing; the limp is barely noticeable and he's skipping forward at his usual speed, not even glancing back because he knows Erwin will have no trouble to keep up with his freakishly long legs. Getting on his knees is a different matter at the moment, apparently; it does not bode well for his fondness of scrubbing floors. (It's at least part of the reason he makes Eren do it nowadays.)

Blaming Erwin or his dreams for his current state had never even occurred to him. It's all Levi, after all, fucking up time after time, failing to fulfill his promise, failing to let the 229 souls of their friends and subordinates lost to that fucking monkey rest. And even before then, Erwin had been the one to finally lift him out of darkness; how could he possibly feel wronged rather than grateful?

At some point, he becomes aware that they're still holding onto each other. It's... a little awkward, maybe, now that he thinks about it, but there's also that whole touch energy thing that Levi hasn't delved into yet, and he certainly wouldn't want Erwin turning into a statue, so it's probably fine. And damn, he's missed him. It's been years. It's just nice to have that reassurance that he's actually there, solid, real. Surely if Erwin found it inappropriate, he would have let him know by now.

Unless he's suffering it because of some misplaced guilt again. Well, Levi will set him right soon enough if he has a say in it. For now, magic sounds like a nice, safe topic that they do need to cover anyway.

"Anyone from other places," he clarifies. "Anyone like us. But you get one element to start with." He pauses, looking Erwin over. "Do you remember where you woke up?"

"And I'm not sure how I do it. I just... feel it." Much like his hidden, feral power, it tended to sort of just happen when he needed it, at least at first. He's quite good at calling it forward when he wants to, now, but he still tended to use familiar moves, motions of limbs usually used in other kinds of combat. The first time he moved a large amount of water, he'd been doing his 3DMG spins mid-air, the splashes working as extensions of his blades. "You just need to let it click."
