[ There's a little bit of weirdness about death and the dead when it comes to Eldians — when it comes to Eren's experiences, really — but his experience is wildly abnormal. As far as he's concerned in the end, the dead are just dead. That's all there really is.

He listens to Hijikata's explanation with a slight frown. He doesn't know anything about religion, really. There were those weird guys who worshipped the walls (and he's pretty sure at least the leaders of that weirdo cult were aware of what was inside those walls), but other than that, he really has no idea. Surely there were religions somewhere, even on Paradis, but Eren just doesn't know or care about that.

I would fail the first judgment, too. Would have failed that a long time ago.

[ Elaboration? We don't do that here.

As for the rest, there's something distant and almost sad on Eren's face for a second there.

I'm glad my world doesn't use that kind of judgment. I don't know if I believe in hell, but I'd always be bound there. Your world would definitely find me guilty, but I can't ever atone for anything I've done.

[ As much as Eren says I haven't done that yet when confronted about the looming horror of the Rumbling, he will do it. Or would, if he ever went home. He's vowed he won't go home, and he means to keep that vow. But at home, he can never see another solution. ]
