Hahah, he'll see her outside of her soldier uniform here quite often and that's far away from this black theme, that she's currently wearing when it's a lot of red, pink, white details mixed into those two, flowers, girly stuff and lots of other things.
Mikasa smiles back at him, it's a tiny smile but it's still there. "Then, welcome. It's good to see you too." Alive and all, or who knows, maybe she's talking with an illusion or ghost or whatever but she also wouldn't be surprised if this is all real too. She'd certainly like it, saving more and more people from the hell that is their world into a mostly peaceful world like this one.
She thinks about her answer to that question for a little moment. Or more like thinks about how to word most of her thoughts about it.
"No." . . . That's gloomy. "I don't even believe in any after life or there being anything after dying." That's even worse. "And if we die here, we'll be sent to these places called Flower Yards, where we'll resurrect from flowers because dying isn't permanent here. And I heard it's like it feels like you're asleep through that time between dying and reviving, though who knows, maybe that varies between people about how it feels to them. ...Then again, I have no idea what happens if locals die here, they don't return to tell what it's like after that."
Mikasa shrugs. So maybe they go to heaven, maybe they don't. Thank you for hitting a topic, that she apparently has been thinking about a lot.
