"Maybe that was just you," Eren says back, the argument coming automatically, though he doesn't really mean it. It's just…familiar, even years after he stopped having those arguments with Jean.

"Yeah…the anonymity is kind of weird. You don't know who anyone is in there. Maybe some people like that."

Eren has mixed feelings. He doesn't so much mind being anonymous, but doesn't he already see people as separate enough? Easier to forget they're real when they're all masks and costumes.
