Eren nods. He hasn't been away from their world as many years as Jean, but he's seen and done things he never could have imagined. It isn't just the different relationships he's cultivated with his friends now; there's magic and flying wolves and all of it.

He thinks of Gideon, his first friend who wasn't from their world, who taught him to use a sword.

"I didn't know you even liked sports," he says. "Is basketball anything like soccer?" He knows soccer is also called football. He really has no idea what either one is like. He only knows the little bit Nagi told him, but in the end he couldn't picture what soccer really was either.
