Arrival

Part 1

You arrive in an unknown space, dressed in white clothes (player choice what kind of clothes, as long as they cover everything). Whatever was happening to you before no longer happens. It's like everything was put on a pause and you were transferred away from the situation without you realizing it happened.

The space that you find yourself in is one of these four options:

An empty landscape filled with snow and ice, almost like a blank canvas.
A field with cherry blossom trees and spring flowers.
A sunny beach near an ocean that seems never ending.
A quiet forest with falling autumn leaves.

All of the spaces seem to continue endlessly. No matter where or how far you walk it almost seems like you're not moving at all. There are no animals here - just those who happened to wake up there at the same time, in the same place. Everyone is wearing the same kind of plain, white clothes.

Despite the possible rollercoaster of emotions you might be feeling, the place somehow feels familiar. Like somehow you belong there.

And it looks like you're not alone.

Part 2

After half an hour has passed the surroundings change as everyone is teleported into a room with all the other new arrivals, no matter what space they woke up in. It's a large place with plenty of seats to sit in and beverages to enjoy. Medical attention is offered to those who need it and the doctors here are very prepared for any challenging situations.

Here, in this room, everyone gets an answer to where they are and why. A hologram of a man appears at the center of the room, waiting to be heard. He brings a message on behalf of the leaders of Ellipsa.

The Message [ Click to Expand ]

Hello, my name is Olwen. I'm one of the leaders of Ellipsa as it currently is. I'm also one of the four who summoned you here.

Our world is in trouble and we need your help. I apologize for tearing you away from your world and forcing you to come here but I hope you understand. The magic we used doesn't let us ask in advance, nor does it let us choose who we bring here.

This world is composed of four Seasonal Segments. All of them represent one of the seasons. They were the places we used to get our resources from, but now they're dangerous places no one should go into unless they have the power to fight back. All of them have their own sets of powerful monsters and natural catastrophes.

We used to have plenty of people here who could control the powers of the four Seasons. We called them Seasonal Power Holders. Unfortunately, due to a tragedy you can read about later, we lost almost all of them. Now only four of us remain and the world is in chaos. We have done our best to protect the world, but we need more power holders to do that.

That's where you come in.

All of you have been assigned to one of the seasons. Whatever space you were in just now is what season you represent. You will learn different skills based on the season and those skills are going to help you save this world.

These powers don't interfere with your own natural powers. They use a new energy that has formed inside of you. It's harmless to your health, but it's vital to your seasonal powers. Your own powers should still work, even if the dark energy outside the city might interfere with them.

Unfortunately bringing you here wasn't as simple as it sounds. We couldn't do anything about how to keep you anchored to this world other than making a simple spell that helps with it. That is, you need to touch someone else who is not from this world ideally at least once a day. It will help you stay in control of your powers and boost your magical energy. If you don't, the consequences aren't very good. But as long as you hold someone's hand or give someone a handshake, you should be fine.

That's all I have to say about the situation. The staff of the Research Center will give you more information about housing and other necessary things. I will, however, promise that you will be sent home once the situation becomes better. That's the least we can do.

The hologram can be viewed in private in a separate room later, should someone wish to look at it again. For now, the staff of the Research Center hands everyone their new smartphones with their small flower lucky charms (the flower is anything the player decides). They're also told that the building next door is where everyone can find a room assigned to them with some of their belongings there and possibly even any animal companions. Those concerned about their mount-sizes companions are welcomed to the stables downstairs to see if their friends are there. The mounts are allowed to stay there until you find a place more suitable for them.

In the Arrival's hall there are also several stands with information pamphlets.

First type of stand is for the local Guilds and about the benefits or joining one.

Second type of stands is for the Welcome Center that aim to show otherworlders what the world is like and help guide people in the beginning of the journey and helps in getting settled into the new world. They even have people to help if you're unfamiliar with the new phones.

Third type of the stands is for The In Touch Support Group that is led by the Otherwordly Ambassador, Kamisato Ayato. The pamphlets have contact information for businesses looking to help Otherworlders. They also focus more on the lore of the World and what they have discovered so far, as well as a guide on what to think about when preparing to venture out to the Segments.

Once you get your smartphone and necessary information, you're urged to go out and find your apartment. After that whatever you want to do is up to you.

Part 3

The building next door is where everyone can find their new apartments. As you enter, you're told by a friendly native that for the first two months you can live anywhere rent-free and five meals a day are paid for you. After that they get a monthly payment that helps with some of their living expenses, but otherwise they have to have a job to support themselves.

All of the apartments are comfortable, two bedroom apartments with all necessary utilities. They are also completely soundproof. Sometimes the magic system, however, does glitch and you might find yourself rooming with a stranger. This is not the intention and the staff will immediately prepare you your own room if you ask them. But maybe having a roommate isn't all that bad?

We Wish You a Merry Kissmas

Part 1

The whole city of Nightwake has completely gotten into holiday season. Christmas exists in Ellipsa, but it's just a celebration of winter spirits and a chance to exchange presents with your loved ones. Things like Santa Claus do exist, but they're not as important in Ellipsa traditions. The most important thing about Christmas, for Ellipsa natives, is being together with someone you truly care about and watching the Christmas lights.

Due to the holiday spirit, some of the cleaning related machines have started cleaning on their own, especially in the Starter Apartment Building. It's not weird to see a roomba entering an apartment through someone's dog door or a vacuum cleaner to knock on the door to enter. Natives will tell anyone wondering what's going on that this is perfectly normal and they should just let them do their job.

Some machines are, however, a little too eager and will try to clean even people, unless they've been to the shower that day.

Any items lost during the cleaning frenzy can be found from the Lost and Found of the Research Center - or they're potentially returned to the wrong apartment completely.

Part 2

Along with holiday decorations different sized and shaped mistletoes have appeared all around the city. A good part of them are actually just normal mistletoes that you can just ignore and continue, but some of them are magical plants.

Mistletoes will use various methods to trap someone under them. Some grow vines to grab the person (magically infused, very difficult to break), some form a barrier around them that allows another to walk in but no one to walk out. There are even methods still unknown (make your own)! So it's definitely recommended that people use caution when passing a mistletoe.

The regular way of getting out of a mistletoe's hold is to kiss someone. Even platonic kisses count, so there's no need to force oneself to do mouth to mouth action. Another less known method - that the natives will tell people about - is to dance a little dance for the mistletoe; there's usually enough room inside a barrier, or the vines are loose enough, to let someone dance!

Another type of mistletoe is a roaming mistletoe that stubbornly follows someone who very much wants to kiss someone, but for some reason won't. The mistletoe will be waiting for them when they walk outside or appear out of nowhere when the person is talking to someone. It can only be chased away by actually kissing the person they want to, so even kissing a random person doesn't help this one.

Part 3
CW/TW: Hanahaki Disease

Some of the mistletoes have a less pleasant effect (they're extremely rare). Those caught under one of them and who have something they need to confess to someone (may it be romantic or platonic) will be inflicted with the Hanahaki disease. They will be coughing up flowers that have started to grow inside them due to the secrets they're hiding. It's a painfully slow process.

Best way to cure the disease is to confess whatever it is they have on their heart. After that the flowers will start to disappear and everything can return to normal.

Other methods are getting a spring power holder to lift the disease off them, make a potion out of the hanahaki flowers and flaming ginger roots (found from the Summer Segment, near the Temple of Life) or surgically removing the source. All of these methods, however, will make the person lose all of their emotions for the next 24 hours.

And a Colorful New Year

Part 1

During the winter holidays there's plenty to do in the city. Various workshops have been set up in every district. The goal of these workshops is to make all districts look as close to Christmas as possible, even the ones that are in the middle of summer. They're looking for creative ways to celebrate the festival and are always looking for help to make their wishes come true.

All the districts also have an ice rink built to them. They're magical, so even the heat of Solarpeak won't melt them. Skating in one of these ice rinks will make different colors appear around the skater. All the colors are somehow related to the skater and make beautiful art in the air (e.g. rainbows, whirlpools, flowers, animals). These colors don't have any other magical properties and will fade away after a while.

Those who skate together will find their colors mixing together. The more balanced the color mix is, the better relationship they have. This works even if there are more than two skaters having fun together. Those who are in love with each other will find their colors intertwining together into different kind of lines and ribbons.

It's a common rumor that if the colors turn into gold, silver or platinum instead of just mixing together, the couple skating is destined to be together.

If a relationship is rocky or either one of them has doubts about the other, the colors may completely disappear when they're close together in the rink. The colors will return again once some distance has been taken.

Part 2

Christmas is largely a holiday for families and couples. That's why all the natives are excited to hear that there will be a Wedding for two otherworlders soon. That's why a lot of shops are doing promotions for any couples that enter them (even sometimes mistaken two friends as a couple). They're also excitedly making different wedding themed charms that will make the person dream about their dream wedding when it's put under a pillow (or if they don't have a dream wedding, they will dream otherwise pleasant dreams).

It's a great tradition to kiss under a Christmas tree. Those who do this will find a present appearing next to them. This present will have a pair of lockets that have pictures of each other in them. The locket will vibrate and the pictures will change its expression any time the person has an emotional crisis.

Those who are loners, or just don't have anyone to call their own, will be able to enjoy the holidays in their own special cabins filled with familiar scents and colors, located on any districts. They are, of course, welcome to invite friends over to enjoy it as well - and if one thing leads to another, that's a very good bonus.

Part 3

Another important day to celebrate is the start of the New year. These celebrations, as well as the winter holiday ones, tend to continue far into January, as the natives find the atmosphere soothing and a great way to start an entirely new year.

Most important new year tradition is the Fireworks show. Booths have been set up for people to create their own fireworks. These fireworks will explode in the skies with the chosen colors and shapes (a picture, some text, anything really). All the person has to do is create the design they want and choose their colors. These fireworks will be sent to the skies on midnight when the year changes.

Those who create fireworks will receive a blessing for the new year that will let them regain one item from home/a previous world (works like a normal, non-magical regain would). Those who don't know what they want will be able to receive a random item that has been in their possession at any point. This item will appear near wherever they happen to be when the fireworks are set off, so after midnight in the new year.

Of course, there's plenty of food and drinks to go around everywhere, and most of them are even free. Some may even find their favorite dish among the various dishes available.

OOC TIPS

- Mistletoes (at least a good chunk of them) and all the Ice Rinks will be available until the end of January. Mistletoes are hard to control so not all of them can be taken down easily - and the ice rinks are just fun to have around. Some other traditions can also be still done during January, even if they might not be as powerful after New Year.

- Sawyer, the Autumn Guild Leader, is still missing, so the atmosphere around the Autumn Guild is a less cheerful one, unfortunately.

- Ask your questions related to the TDM here.

- The TDM is available only to friends of the mods and their friends. If you want to play in the TDM, please leave a note here to inform us who invited you over. We will get to you as soon as possible.

- Test Drive is open for current characters to make a top level as well. New characters can add TDM on their subject line to indicate they're new!

- Current characters cannot access the starting area again to meet new arrivals. They can, however, be at the Research Center when the newbies are teleported in.

- The TDM is game canon so anything in the TDM can happen for your character(s) in the game as well.

- Smut is not allowed on the TDM. You can play situations leading to it, but if the thread is turning into smut, please move it to a private space such a post in your character's journal, or a locked post in the game's log community if you decide to app!

- Check Locations: City to find more areas to explore inside the city. Every place in the districts are open.

- Similarly, Locations: Segments is useful for outdoors adventures.

- You can find monsters to encounter on Beastiary.

- FAQ has information on characters' smartphones as well as general things about the world that might be handy.

Estinien looked at the woman, giving her an abrupt nod. “Aye. I do not suspect this will well.” He took her in and for a moment mistook her for another—but no, she was nothing like Ysayle. Estinien had never been good with faces, and even he could tell them apart after looking past the white hair. And she was far shorter than most elezen he had ever known, even if she had the same pointed ears.

He hated introductions, but the woman seemed competent enough at first glance. Without allies of his own, he would likely need to find new ones. “Estinien Varlineau.” He didn’t hold out a hand, instead keeping his arms crossed as he glanced down at her, then back toward the room. “It seems we may not be from the same place.” He was no stranger to the talk of other worlds—but this seemed entirely different from the world he was used to. “For one, you’re entirely too short to be an elezen.”

She did not ask and did not care, and may even have said as much if she wasn't of a similar mind that, you know, making enemies probably shouldn't be her priority in a strange world with weird shit happening. The big elf who looked fairly strong wouldn't be a terrible person to befriend.

"Sun Spear." She replied. She looked over at him, glanced up and down, and then offered blandly: "and you're too tall to be a Sylvan. And your eyes are the wrong color." Go green or go home. "Pretty hot though."

He let out a short, amused snort. At least the woman was direct. “Attractiveness matters little to me.” She could seem competent without being so, he thought. But that was a problem for the future and not something he was keen on bringing up to her directly—especially not without seeing her in action herself. If she was even a fighter, though she had the look about her.

And that was where his sense of obligation to this conversation ended. He had a name and a face—if it became relevant, he would be able to find her in this sea of strangers. Or at least he hoped he would. Maybe he should do something to ensure that, or… something.

"I feel like I should be offended by that." She wasn't, but still.

Sun Spear fell silent in turn and debated the merits of continuing the conversation herself. More than capable of handling anything that came her way, having someone that looked fairly capable themselves wouldn't go amiss.

"I'm going to see what this place is about." She said, pushing off from the wall. "You're free to accompany me if you want." Absolutely up to him if he followed her, but she was heading for the door.

He raised a brow but said nothing at her comment, then watched her as she started to move away. Though he did not necessarily trust her yet, maybe having someone else do more of the investigation (and perhaps more of the talking) would be a benefit to him.

Estinien followed suit and pushed himself from the wall, flexing his hand as he wished to have his lance back in his grasp. It had better be around somewhere, or he would have to find something else. And how did money work in this place, exactly?

“Alright,” he said, coming up behind her. He reached the door first—legs much, much longer than her own—and swung it open without much thought for her behind him as he stepped through and let it swing back closed.

Despite appearances and attitude, Sun Spear was oddly charismatic when she chose to be. If they happened upon anyone that seemed vaguely competent, she would probably bug them first. Her plan was to investigate the local taverns first (if such things existed), since, theoretically that was the best place for information in any world. Probably.

First she had to contend with someone that was somehow more of a dickhead than she was however. She was quick enough to slide through the doorway just before it slammed in her face, her nose crinkling with annoyance. "All Elezen this rude or are you special?"
borelblue: (Such a charmer)

[personal profile] borelblue 2024-01-25 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course he did. Aymeric didn't manage several years of friendship with Estinien without learning his way of doing things. He nodded before allowing his hands to be shrugged off. Even that brief moment of sentiment meant a lot to him - as did Estinien standing as close as he was. Aymeric was more than happy to provide that safety to his oldest, closest friend.

"Perhaps you did. As I understand it, we are plucked from a particular point in time, and then returned there when this world deigns to release us. Some people have come and gone a few times. Others have been stolen away to different realms besides this one, and have been long away from their own star. There are even some here from our own world, but different versions of it. It can get complicated, to say the least. More than anything, I but live my life here, and help when I can."

A knight lives to serve, if nothing else.

And speaking of his life in Ellipsa, there was plenty to say about that, too. Aymeric took a deep breath. "Fury preserve us, we'd need another moon to go over everything. This is a realm of some very strange happenings...though not necessarily bad ones. I've battled many manner of beasts, tried new foods, accidentally took second place in a fishing tournament, and befriended people a myriad of people from all across the many universes."

He smirked. "Why, I've even been wed. You just missed it. Had you arrived but a few weeks sooner, you could've been my best man."

Again, Estinien found himself glancing down at her with a hint of amusement. “I apologize for thinking you might be more than capable of handling a door on your own.” Maybe he should’ve held it open for her, in hindsight. He wasn’t used to traveling with others really—up until very, very recently he’d been on his own.

Estinien turned and took in the city around them as he searched for somewhere that might offer them some information. He was certain Sun Spear would have an idea of where to go and decided to follow her wherever she went.

The sun was bright in his eyes and he shielded his eyes with a raised hand. There were many people—some looking far different than what he was used to in Eorzea. “How are there so many here, and yet none we might know?” It wasn’t meant as a direct question to Sun Spear—rather, more like thinking out loud.

"You're lucky I can handle it, otherwise I'd be kicking your ass down to my height." Right in the knees, dickhead.

Sun Spear had visited plenty of big cities, but even Lavin paled in comparison to the beast that was Nightwake. The bright neon lights and massive buildings were intimidating in their stature, and she failed to see the point in them.

"Extravagant." She scoffed. "We don't know if no one we know is here yet. Maybe they arrived before us." She answered anyway, taking a moment to look around before turning down a road on a whim. "They said there's lodging this way. What weird place did you wake up in? Mine was a forest."
squidzure: (Default)

[personal profile] squidzure 2024-01-25 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Now that was probably the most surprising thing Estinien had heard that day—and by the looks of the sun in the sky, it was relatively early. Assuming things worked here the same way they did on Etheirys. “Marriage, eh?” It brought a small smirk to his lips, happy that his friend had found happiness, but also… “I never thought I’d see the day you were torn from your desk long enough to find someone.”

He knew how much Aymeric had struggled over the years with his relationships for one reason or another. “When will I meet them?”

But another thing had caught his attention as well. That there were some from other versions of their universe… What might that mean for the two of them? Nothing seemed off about Aymeric—not really. Though nine moons spent in this place had clearly had a good impact on him if he’d found someone.

At least Estinien had a place here, even if he did need to wait a bit to get on his own two feet. He wondered if Aymeric remembered the job offer he’d given him that Estinien had refused—that he’d insisted he did not need Aymeric’s handouts. Of course now, he absolutely did.

[personal profile] squidzure 2024-01-25 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
He looked down at her again—she was short, though he was no stranger to that and it held no bearing on his opinion of her strength. It was the little things. Though he might get a crick in his neck if he wasn’t careful. “I was in a forest as well,” he said. The hologram had said that meant something—what that something was and whether or not he cared remained to be seen.

Estinien was unafraid of admitting that he could barely follow whatever was going on—not for lack of intelligence, but rather because he didn’t care—he did not need details to jump at a problem. “Was our origin point meant to mean something?” He was certain now that his spear, Nidhogg, had been brought with him even if he didn’t have it in his hands yet. That thought alone brought him some comfort.

Sun Spear tilted her head to look up at him now, expression incredulous.

"Were you even listening to what the guy said?" Frankly, Sun Spear didn't care either, and what she had learned only annoyed her. That said, her experience in negotiating contracts with stingy human nobles who liked to fuck over non-human mercs for the work they did assured she heard every word to make sure she wasn't walking into a death trap. "We were given magic based on the seasonal segment we woke up in. Sounds like ours is 'Autumn.' Whatever the fuck that means." She huffed. "I hate magic."

He turned at the sound of his name, blinking down at a… miqo’te? He wasn’t certain if he recognized her, but she knew him and seemed to at least be from Etheirys. By the Fury, what was happening?

Something about her felt familiar, all the same, and brought him a bit of comfort at seeing someone at least vaguely familiar. “I… apologize, I do not recognize you.” Though he felt he might… somewhere. Twelve take him, he could not decide if he had merely forgotten her existence.

[personal profile] squidzure 2024-01-25 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Magic was not his specialty, and Estinien had little desire to use it if he did not have to. “Isn’t that what we’re on our way to figure out?”

He misliked not knowing what was happening here in its fullest. Some of it was on him, certainly, but most of it he could only blame the ones that had brought him here. He thought of the Warrior of Light’s tales and frowned, sensing a similarity to what had happened on the First. “I think the real question we need the answer to is whether we will ever be able to return home on a more-permanent basis.”

Estinien frowned again. “Oh.” He reached out and placed a hand on Sun Spear’s head for a moment. “Something about needing to touch someone once a day. That should do it.”

Aymeric chuckled. "My work as lord commander and lord speaker did not follow me here. I am but another otherworlder. In fact, I have made my living doing various quests around the districts - one might even call me an adventurer."

"And I should hope you can meet her today. Have you all of your things with you? I'll let her know I'm coming home with a special guest," he continued as he withdrew his device. "New arrivals are given living quarters in yonder building - " he indicated to the building in question. " - but should Night Sky, my wife, be amenable to it, you may live with us. I have told her of you previously, and I doubt she would mind."

Aymeric's heartbeat increased with eagerness. His friend was back, and about to meet his wife. Two of the people he cared about the most were with him.

[ Her ears lift as she turns in his direction, and for a moment there's a mix of emotions that race through her- joy, that she's seeing an old friend after so long. They're "partners" as friends after all, as former Azure Dragoons- but then there's melancholy, that like about everyone else here who looks familiar, he doesn't remember or even know her.

She's used to that part, at least, and she smiles. ]

'Tis how places like these are, I'm afraid. We may remember different things- but I'll remember for certain. Full glad am I to see you again, Estinien- even if you don't know me.

"We're on our way to figure out anything else we need to know that Olwen might not have covered." She said. "Including that."

She opened her mouth to say more, but fell silent while simultaneously stopping dead in her tracks the instant his palm met her head.

Her own hand shot up to grasp his at the wrist. "What the fuck was that? Touch my fucking shoulder or something - or better yet, ask first?! Were you raised in a fucking bog?"

His own place, versus a place with his friend… Aymeric was always one to offer things such as this. At least for now, assuming Night Sky held no qualms, Estinien thought it best to take him up on the offer. “Aye, that may be best—only until I get my bearings. No longer.”

Estinien found himself wondering what sort of woman Aymeric had found himself with. “Do you think Meteor would like her?” It was a tease, of course—Meteor tended to like everyone.

Estinien found himsel frowning as he took in the miqo’te—her polearm with her. A fellow dragoon, then? The mood shifted slightly, and he found himself wanting to trust her with his life—a comrade of sorts, he thought.

“Aye. His name is Meteor. A fellow dragoon like… us, I presume?” He eyed the weapon she carried, admiring it a little and wishing he had his own on him. “Are you… the Warrior, from a different world? Or rather…” He furrowed his brow. “The same world but… different.” This was all entirely over his head. He’d never truly understood the talk of other worlds and shards, and now he was regretting not asking more questions.

He shrugged, dropping his hand to his side. “It took care of the issue, did it not? Now come on—we have some questions that need to be answered.”

Trying to remember the names of all these people while taking everything in… He was no stranger to the life of an adventurer, of course, but it was a bit strange to be in a place he had nearly no knowledge of beforehand.

Though he probably should try to stay on Sun Spear’s good side if he wanted her to do most of the talking. “And not a bog, no—but a farm. And then in the barracks of the military. Personal space was never a luxury I had.” And it was true enough; though he preferred to remain along the sidelines, in moment such of this, it was more of a question of what was necessary than what was desired. “I will ask next time.” He paused. “Your head is far more convenient.”

“Anyway. Questions. Answers. Shall we?”

"Aye, of course. You'll be free to your usual wanderings. The room will remain should you have need of it again, of course. Come, my friend," Aymeric replied, leading the way home.

For better or worse, Estinien remained that gaelicat in the wind, as he'd once remarked to the Warrior of Light. No sooner did he remember Drakyr than Estinien mention someone new. Aymeric's brows pinched.

"Meteor?"

Estinien paused for a moment before continuing to follow behind Aymeric, the worry that had been gnawing at him all but confirmed by his friend's expression. "Meteor. The... Warrior of Light?" Though he already knew what his friend's reply would be, based on what he'd gleaned already. If Aymeric had already met other Warriors of Light...

"It seems although you are Aymeric, and I am Estinien..." He sighed, looking up at the sky as he continued to follow behind. "We are not the same Aymeric and Estinien. A troubling thought, though not entirely unexpected."

Aymeric seemed like very much the same man he had known for much of his life. How many differences could there be, really?

She would absolutely not give him the satisfaction of her agreement. She would rather die.

He was right though. It had solved that 'touch' stipulation mentioned that she had hoped to ignore for now.

"My foot in your ass will be far less convenient. So use your fucking words." That said, Sun Spear was going to now use her words to get them through the next hour or two.

She eventually wandered into a bar where the locals seemed inclined to indulge her curiosity enough to answer whatever questions she and Estinien had. Sun Spear, for all her vulgarness and obvious temper, seemed very good at talking when settled at a table with a few of the natives. The basics were learned- seasonal powers, what 'Autumn' powers equated to, the segments and the dangers outside of the city, the guilds and quests and whatever else had been asked. When all was said and done, it was Sun Spear and Estinien seated at a table, a beer bottle raised to the former's lips.

"At least we can get paid for shit..."

Aymeric sighed quietly and nodded. "That seems to be the case, I'm afraid. We would not be the first instance. There are several other Warriors of Light here, and none of them are the Warrior I know, who is an Auri woman named Drakyr Saovine. None of them go by Meteor, either."

He looked to Estinien. "I care not, however. Each Warrior of Light I've met has the traits that made me admire Drakyr in the first place - that made me see them as a hero. And I would not doubt that it will be the same with you. You are Estinien Varlineau, my closest friend, and naught else matters."

Aymeric activated the device in his hand. "Begging your pardon - I will message Night Sky as we continue on our way."
