Arrival

Part 1

You arrive in an unknown space, dressed in white clothes (player choice what kind of clothes, as long as they cover everything). Whatever was happening to you before no longer happens. It's like everything was put on a pause and you were transferred away from the situation without you realizing it happened.

The space that you find yourself in is one of these four options:

An empty landscape filled with snow and ice, almost like a blank canvas.
A field with cherry blossom trees and spring flowers.
A sunny beach near an ocean that seems never ending.
A quiet forest with falling autumn leaves.

All of the spaces seem to continue endlessly. No matter where or how far you walk it almost seems like you're not moving at all. There are no animals here - just those who happened to wake up there at the same time, in the same place. Everyone is wearing the same kind of plain, white clothes.

Despite the possible rollercoaster of emotions you might be feeling, the place somehow feels familiar. Like somehow you belong there.

And it looks like you're not alone.


Part 2

After half an hour has passed the surroundings change as everyone is teleported into a room with all the other new arrivals, no matter what space they woke up in. It's a large place with plenty of seats to sit in and beverages to enjoy. Medical attention is offered to those who need it and the doctors here are very prepared for any challenging situations.

Here, in this room, everyone gets an answer to where they are and why. A hologram of a man appears at the center of the room, waiting to be heard. He brings a message on behalf of the leaders of Ellipsa. The staff nearby tells them that the message has finally been properly updated from the original one that can still be found from the records.

Hello, my name is Olwen. I'm one of the leaders of Ellipsa as it currently is. I'm also one of the four who summoned you here.

Our world is in trouble and we need your help. I apologize for tearing you away from your world and forcing you to come here but I hope you understand. The magic we used doesn't let us ask in advance, nor does it let us choose who we bring here. We wouldn't have resorted to it if we weren't desperate. Our world has lost the majority of power holders who kept the balance in our world and dealt with the dangers of the Segments. Just having one power holder for each Season isn't enough. That's why we have summoned you to become the new Seasonal Power Holders.

This world is composed of four Seasonal Segments. All of them represent one of the seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. They were the places we used to get our resources from, but now they're dangerous places no one should go into unless they have the power to fight back. All of them have their own sets of powerful monsters and natural catastrophes. We have recently managed to regain some footing in the segments and made them safer, but there is still a lot of work to be done. The Darkness still plagues our world, but we are constantly finding ways to fight back.

Otherworlders like you have already made great differences to the world. They have managed to find and free the dragons who in turn helped us expand the area we live in. They also managed to find the Fairy Queen and even the Mermaids and Sirens of the Great Ocean Lake are at peace due to the efforts of a few otherworlders. All of these things we couldn't have accomplished with just four power holders.

My sincere wish is that you would join us in working towards saving this world. We promise to send you home afterwards, or enable a way to travel to your world and back, as a compensation for your efforts here. You're even free to stay here, if that suits you better. This world can also be yours.

I know we're asking you a lot and that it might be hard to trust someone who just talks as a hologram, but you are always free to approach us at our guilds to talk in person.

The hologram can be viewed in private in a separate room later, should someone wish to look at it again. For now, the staff of the Research Center hands everyone their new smartphones with their small flower lucky charms (the flower is anything the player decides). They're also told that the building next door is where everyone can find a room assigned to them with some of their belongings there and possibly even any animal companions. Those concerned about their mount-sized companions are welcomed to the stables downstairs to see if their friends are there. The mounts are allowed to stay there until you find a place more suitable for them.

In the arrival's hall there are also several stands with information pamphlets.

First type of stand is for the local Guilds and about the benefits of joining one.

Second type of stand is for the Welcome Center that aim to show otherworlders what the world is like and help guide people in the beginning of the journey and helps in getting settled into the new world. They even have people to help if you're unfamiliar with the new phones.

Third type of a stand has various pamphlets about businesses opened by otherworlders.

Once you get your smartphone and necessary information, you're urged to go out and find your apartment. After that whatever you want to do is up to you.

Part 3

The building next door is where everyone can find their new apartments. As you enter, you're told by a friendly native that for the first two months you can live anywhere rent-free and five meals a day are paid for you. After that they get a monthly payment that helps with some of their living expenses, but otherwise they have to have a job to support themselves.

All of the apartments are comfortable, two bedroom apartments with all necessary utilities. They are also completely soundproof. Sometimes the magic system, however, does glitch and you might find yourself rooming with a stranger. This is not the intention and the staff will immediately prepare you a room of your own. But maybe having a roommate isn't all that bad?

NOW KISS

Part 1

Among the holidays adopted by Ellipsan natives, Christmas is one of the bigger ones. However, they have opted to calling the celebration the Yuletide season. The streets of Nightwake, no matter what season the districts falls to, are decorated with different kind of holiday ornaments and lights. The Yuletide, for Ellipsan natives, is viewed as the season of love, affection, closeness and new beginnings (which is why the celebrations continue into January).

One of the classic decorations is, of course, mistletoe. They're placed on very strategic places both inside buildings and outside. This year there are also small helpers. The small-sized fairy bunnies (bunnies with fairy wings and cute ribbons) fly all around Nightwake and bring mistletoes over to pairs who seem like couples to them. Sometimes they will also hang around very sad looking people and try to get them a kiss.

These bunnies can be easily bribed to leave someone alone or to pick a specific target by giving them dandelions to snack on. It's also likely that they will stay around after they get tired of carrying around mistletoes (they can't even nibble on them since they're poisonous) and just sleep on someone's lap or shoulder. They may be messengers of love and affection, but they need breaks!

Workshops have been made around the city where people can make evergreen beds for the fairy bunnies to show their appreciation. These beds they can both sleep in and snack on. The same workshop also instructs people on how to make evergreen wreaths to hang on doors that will bring good luck for the next year.

Part 2
While some of the more modern districts have opted for using electric light displays, some of the more traditional ones like Sunwaning and Dayrise have opted to using natural fire for ambience. The streets are filled with candles of different shapes and sizes. There are even magically floating candles making shapes of christmas decorations in the skies.

Everyone is also provided with free candles to encourage sitting at home in only candlelight. The candles are special and will fill the room with nostalgic aura that will make them feel like they're in the most comfortable place for the people in the room. If their house is already that, there's little to no change. However, the candles will also bring loved ones around as illusions so everyone can spend a night with the people they love.

These illusions can be people that have died or just people who aren't here in Ellipsa. However, illusions can also show someone who is in the world, but just not in the room (or maybe even while the person is in the room, in case someone hasn't confessed their feelings). They will act like the person they know and they can even be physically touched. There can be as many loved ones joining them for the night as they want.

At the end of such an evening with the candles, everyone may find an item from home that has magically appeared for them. Basically, it's a free regain of either magical or normal variety and may or may not be related to the people they saw as illusions. The candles only have one use in them and even if they got new ones, they will only get one item.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Part 1

A group of students from the Magical Manor wanted to bring snow into every district, including the summer ones, for the Yuletide celebrations. So they combined their magical knowledge and power to make spells that make snow less likely to melt in hot weather, and tasked strong adventurers to bring in snow from Frostreign and the Winter Segment.

They didn't realize that the snow would include small beings called Snow Sprites. They're balls of ice with wings that go around and cause snow storms happen in small areas. Now these sprites have been woken up from their peaceful sleep and are causing a havoc around the whole city, making it snow where it normally shouldn't.

In a way this was great! They're bringing snow everywhere without anyone needing to carry it for several districts. On the other hand they're not stopping anytime soon. Judging by the screams coming from the Solarpeak beach, the bikini season is on hold. Some of the kids love it and some of the shops are taking an advantage of it by selling warm clothes in places they normally couldn't.

The students are asking for people to help with the sprites. The best way to make them calm down is by singing something for them. The more singers in a group the better. Another way is to make it into a dance competition. The Snow Sprites love dancing, so they will even stop the worst snowstorm to join in.

Part 2
There are several activities inspired by the Yuletide season. All of them promote cleansing the body of the old year and starting anew.

During sunrise hours, each district has a dedicated spot for sunrise Yoga. A moment to relax in the quiet morning hours and doing yoga together with miniature alpacas. The alpacas will act both as if they're doing yoga as well, but also as a distraction by bumping their bodies into people to demand attention. The point is to relax and let negative energies flow out of the body, so there's no shame in just petting an alpaca for the whole yoga session.

The skating rinks are back on every district. Everyone is encouraged to try skating in them to let all their bad feelings out through a dance on ice. This is done with enchanted ice that will promote positive feelings when skated on. Of course, it may not work on everyone, but skating is also fun, so maybe that's enough.

Those who aren't so into sports can participate in one of the artistic workshops, where bad feelings are expelled through different art forms. There are rooms where someone can just paint the walls by throwing water balloons full of paint at them or just quiet spaces to draw, sketch or read. The staff encourages the visitors to write and paint bad feelings on paper, as the paper will help channel them out and leave a more pleasant feeling behind.

The same effect can also be made at the Underground Mall and the Virtual Reality booth, where the games have been selected to promote tranquility. The access is free for games that are feel good. Additionally there's also a very realistic virtual game of power washing that is sure to relax anyone who feels satisfaction of seeing something cleaned with full power.

Part 3

Evenings in Nightwake are designed for the purposes of new beginnings. Various places offer a chance to think about what people want to set as their goals for the new year. They're also advised to look back into the current year to see what they want to carry with them to the new one.

All things that people wish to forget or leave into the past are written on paper and then set on fire. Meanwhile their new wishes, also written, are stored in a box they can take back home. Whenever a person feels lost they can look back to the box and remember the night.

Those who want to make a bigger display of leaving something in the past can also load their papers into fireworks and blast them off.

[1) Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow (Snow Sprites)]

[Rinku lives near a beach in Solarpeak, she's not going to let this stand! With a glittery swimsuit and a confident look, she runs onto the snowy beach and points at a cluster of Snow Sprites.]

There they are! [She gestures to the nearest person or people.] They'll stop with music, right? Come on, let's do a live!

[She starts up music on her phone and sets it to the side with some speakers, stepping forward to sing and dance.

(...Of course, if you're good enough and work well enough with her you might cause a powerful energy-generating hypnotic wave that she forgot to mention, but that'll help even more with the Snow Sprites, right?)]

[2) Now Kiss (Mistletoe Bunnies)]

[The mistletoe bunnies seemed like a great idea! But then complaints started coming in about people being pressured to kiss, bunnies getting confused, bunnies taking bribes... so Rinku's taken it upon herself to fix the problem.

She's set up the kissing booth again.

Bedecked with mistletoe and surrounded by bunnies (which Rinku pets and feeds Creature Treats to), the booth is lit up for the occasion, sitting on the sidewalk with an updated sign:]

[If you live in, around, or have any reason to visit Fine Arts House, Rinku is there trying out the new magic candles. She takes a deep breath and lights them, her hands shaking.

The candles' comforting aura immediately relaxes her, but she still gulps and takes a second to turn around and see the illusions that manifest. Three other girls, the age she was when she got here, wearing the uniform she wore when she was in school.]

Guys...?

[She knows it's just an illusion. She remembers people she trusts telling her that her friends will still love the Rinku who grew and changed in Ellipsa. But the nerves... she has to know.]

[Trying something new and exciting and it makes sadness leave? Rinku is ON this. She's even got a new skating outfit from the free Yuletide regain! But wait... has she ever actually skated before?

She stands on the ice in her skates, watching everyone else... and then replicates the moves she's just seen. Once. How is she doing this?]

Arrival 2

Karen is quite used to world hopping; since being brought to the Nexus, world hopping has been a regular thing for her, so being brought here is no big deal. It's just... well... everything else. Brochures, talk about magic and darkness and everything else. And how helpful people are. It's... kinda off-putting.

"Woah, woah, woah, please, slow down!" she begged, this short-stack of an arrival begging people to stop laying so much information on her. "Are you guys always this excited about new arrivals?! I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of this!"

Arrival 3

Finally away from the people who are trying to help her, Karen makes her way to the apartments and to the place that happens to be her room. Dumping her dress, she would find her school clothes and the G-Brace and quickly put them on before the sound of knocking and a door opening caused her to aim the G-Brace at the person, the side facing her fist shifting to form a blaster nozzle.

"OI! Can't you see there's someone here?!"

Now Kiss 1

"Augh! N-No! Get away, please!"

It seems that the snow bunnies have been targeting Karen, the redhead futilely trying to get the bunnies to go away with the mistletoe. It's not that she doesn't want to be kissed, it's that she knows no one would - bad feelings about home and school. So, to prevent things from getting worse, Karen's doing her best to shoo them away or send them to other people.

"Don't get my hopes up, please!"

Now Kiss 2

"Wise Goddess? No, you're an illusion, but..."

Karen blinked as she looked at the woman before her. Tall, beautiful, blue hair and a set of wings on her back. Her eyes were hidden behind a golden helmet. She would wibble her lips before she hugged her.

"I'm not used to this world. I want to go back...!"

"Stay strong, child. We will wait for you. I will wait for you."

Let It Snow 1

"Urrrgh... stupid snow."

Karen shivered as she trudged through the snow. Having snow is one thing. Having too much snow is too much.

"Now I know how Slipstream felt..." She sighed and looked at the G-Brace. Should she change? Get out of the snow faster? Or should someone convince her to enjoy the snow?

"It isn't really a lot," Morty said as he stood nearby Karen as the newcomers were clearly very excitable about their arrival. The eye patch wearing teen shrugged and walked over.

"They're sure you're here to save them. Can't really blame them for getting excited about a new savior, can you?" Morty asked while the residents did back off to give the two outworlders room to speak.

Arrival

Judy really had to bite her tongue as she saw all the creatures(?) she arrived with. They were all very fall and looked nothing like any beast she had ever seen before. The closest might be gorillas and chimpanzees and other primate like creatures but the arms and legs were different lengths and there was a distinct lack of fur and-

Judy shook her head. No, no, it wasn't right for her to judge or stare. But it was honestly incredibly difficult. Had there been a mistake in her being here? She had yet to see another bunny. Or fox or shrew or anyone else that she would be most familiar with. It was all very overwhelming along with that explanation she was given. Her ears drooped a bit as she made her way to the Welcome Center. Perhaps she could find more answers there?

She approached one of the tables that looked to have some pamphlets on it. Except...

"Uh..." Cue one bunny standing on her tip toes trying to read for one, paws barely scraping at it. "Oh, come on...!"

Now Kiss - Part 1

From one bunny to another, Judy was easily able to distact the bunny fairy that had been following her around, trying to get her to kiss random strangers. She understood the thought behind it, mistletoes were a thing back home as was the Winter Yuletide celebrations. But she had absolutely no desire to kiss anyone, especially someone she didn't know. But, with her drooping ears and heavy sigh, she supposed it was easy to spot and sad bunny when one saw one. But, with a big pile of dandelions, she sat on a big park bench with the little fairy in her lap happily munching away while she tapped and swiped on her phone.

"There's gotta be someone else besides me here, right?"

Let It Snow - Part 1

Judy set her phone down, raised the volume as she found the song she was looking for. As the beat began, Judy immediately began to dance and bounce much like she did at the very concert this song was from. She didn't have Nick with her this time, but despite her small size she bounced her way over and hip bummed the next person wherever it was her hip connected it (probably their knee or something, tbh).

"C'mon! Dancing distracts them from making snowstorms!" She grinned. Also, it was clearly just fun.

Sometimes its good to visit the Welcome Center just to see if there's changes in the new ie greeting. Information that wasn't announced in some obvious way about the situation.

Also a chance to see her friends if they arrived.

Or, just maybe, someone who has an extra challenge when it comes to arriving in a new world. The new world thing alone was a lot, but there is something to be said when you don't even recognize the bulk of people suddenly around you.

It's a look she recognizes all too well.

"You would think for a society where shapechanging was a thing, they would account for size differences better. Want a leg up or just have me grab it?"

Arrival

Penny's arrival was one filled with confusion and fear. Things were so much. Getting the maiden powers, the conflict with General Ironwood, and of course she still thought about how she was labeled as a killer when she wasn't. Now she was here and unable to help her friends. It took her a few minutes to calm down enough for those explaining the situation to actually get the information through to her.

She was wandering around in the white dress she woke up in for now, just taking in the sights of what was to be her new home for the moment.

She was distinctly not bothered by the cold, despite the fact the dress wasn't exactly a thick coat meant for this weather.

NOW KISS

Penny, unlike how some might react, had no qualms with the mistletoe-carrying fairies. Mostly because she wasn't thinking about the tradition at all. She waved to the little fairies as she went.

She was out examining the new displays, and striking up conversation with people. Now that she had some time to freak out privately, she could try to enjoy the holiday and enjoy her time meeting new friends.

The fairies would probably react to just about anybody, but they would keenly react if Penny were to meet any familiar faces.

Let it Snow: Part 1

When Penny saw a problem, it was in her nature to try to help as much as possible. This meant as the Snow Sprites began to cause problems, she knew she had to help. This was split between Penny helping clear the snow where it was becoming an active danger to people or making it hard to even leave their homes, and her singing to the sprites to get them to rest.

Her singing wasn't great, she was clearly an amateur. Not terrible either, just pretty normal. Her song choices would primarily be ones that those who knew Weiss Schnee would be familiar with.

Let it Snow: Part 2

While she would like to say otherwise, Penny knew she had a lot of build up of negative feelings. How couldn't she when it seemed like everything had gone wrong back home?

So, she'd take up the offers from the locals to engage in the various activities to help expell those feelings momentarily. Yoga... really wouldn't do anything for her body so she was more focused on the other activities.

Ice skating was fairly straight-forward for her. She'd skate along the rink. She wasn't exactly graceful, but she knew how to move along the ice and keep her balance. Penny would help others if they seemed to be having trouble.

Art was time for her to get more expressive. She opted for painting the wall with water balloons. She grabbed balloon after balloon in lightning quick succession. She did seem to have a vision that'd become clear over time. Lots of red, white, black and yellow.

Ruby wasn’t sure why she went back to the research center today. She figured it was something she should do.

So, imagine her surprise when she spotted a familiar face among the group of new arrivals walking around.

( It started off with a pair of fairy bunnies looking for respite, and Ko apparently seemed like an excellent perch, being that he had dandelions with him and was sitting very still. But what started as a pair quickly became five sleepy bunnies, lazily munching dandelions with a Flemish giant even flopped over on his lap. Ko looks simultaneously at peace and like he'd like to get up soon, given the cold ...)

02. ) STRUCK THE MATCH

( Singing to Alivers and having the natural instincts to do so is something Ko is used to. His voice breaks those brainwashed Alivers out of their trances and gives them the chance to think clearly for the first time since they were born. So its not much of stretch from his norm to sing to the snow sprites, either.

And he's a good singer, too. )

03. ) YOUR ONLY ESCAPE

( It occurs to Ko that putting Reiji in the past could be really good for him. Accepting his love, his friendship, and then putting the painful parts aside is something he's wanted for a long time. His telling of his past to Atsuhide, Takakage, and Shino was enough to do that for a while, too.

But healing isn't exactly linear, and the notion of setting his dear, dear friend's name on fire when that was the way he died seems at once fitting and horrific.

He's frozen, to say the least.

So, once he finds out they like dandelions he gets a hold of plenty and makes friends with a fairy bunny or two. It means being in constant mistletoe proximity but he doesn’t mind that.

He’s thrilled when he ends up at some point with one on his lap and one on his shoulder and he pets them both in turn.

[Neo Metal Sonic greatly prefers familiarity. It is easier to make calculations and determine optimal outcomes for one's actions when one can guess how others will respond and prepare accordingly. It doesn't always go to plan, of course - his latest failure attests to that - but he still retains his power and that's good enough for now. What's significantly less good is the fact that he's somewhere entirely new, and he's going to have to spend weeks updating his databanks with all this new information. No time to get started like the present, then.

So you can find Neo Metal Sonic just about anywhere, studying everything Ellipsa has to offer and filing it away for reference, should he have need of it. This particularly edgy-looking hedgehog probably stands out not only for his robotic appearance, but also for his height; he's taller than your average anthropomorphic hedgehog and much more menacing. This has not stopped a few fairy bunnies from deciding that he looks lonely as hell, however. One has made itself at home on his shoulder while the other follows him at a distance. Neo Metal Sonic doesn't spare either of them a passing glance after establishing that they are not a threat and not particularly noteworthy outside of their odd characteristics.

Notably, he has completely missed the memo that they're carrying mistletoe and what that implies. But surely it's fine because he doesn't have a mouth and cannot be kissed. The bunnies have not realized this either, thus leaving us at a (very stupid) impasse.]

[Much as Frieda was looking forward to the festive Yuletide season, the outcome of the conference call with her fellow Eldians about a week ago left her with much to think about. With everyone else vetoing her proposal for the salvation of their people, she's left adrift and unsure of how to proceed. Will the local researchers really come through with their own efforts of creating a connection between different worlds, dimensions, and/or universes?

After a visit to the crystal shop in Stormreach, she rests on a bench to eat an apple when she finds herself visited by a pair of fairy bunnies. While one approaches her and draws her attention, the other one floats overhead with a mistletoe. She looks despondent, so maybe they can attract a charming prince to make her happy! (She's already taken care of in that department, but it's not like the bunnies know that!)]

Oh, how cute are you? Did you get lost? Or are you hungry?

[Oblivious to the mistletoe, she offers her half-eaten apple to the little creature and delights in it taking a bite. If nothing else, she's aready looking happier!]

Part II

[Frieda doesn't invite anyone to her home to spend the night in the presence of her illusionary loved ones, but the day after, she's like a new person. Her eyes are still red from the crying - she's been without her parents and siblings (safe for Historia) for a year, and having learned of their fate in the others' timeline didn't make this "reunion" less of an emotional experience -, but that aside she's practically glowing.]

Have you tried those magical candles already? It's better than any illusion I've seen before! I could even hold them!

[The wonderful experience aside, she found an unexpected item in the morning: A bottle of titan armour serum. For now, she put it away with the titan serum and syringe she inexplicably arrived with, but given the others' vote to not try and do away with their titan powers, she'll need to think about whether to use it herself or give it to one of her fellow titan shifters.]

That and his own thoughts. Someone went through all this trouble to pull him to the beach? Really? Something else was up here but no immediate ambush or ultimatum came. Spotting someone, Morty approached with a deadpan expression.

"Did you bring me here or know where the hell we are?" He asked in a rather monotone voice. He isn't answer or scared. At worst, he seems slightly bothered. Like all of this is just an inconvenience and not some multiversal kidnapping.

Morty then found hismelf in the Welcome Center and listened to the explanation by the recording hologram message. Save the world, get interdimensional travel and permission to stay here, huh?

"Sounds like the leaders get the better deal," Morty shrugged and walked over to the guild tables. He found the Summer table and quickly reviewed the new Seasonal Magic he was told he would have. Magic powers. Once upon a time that would have been so interesting, wouldn't it? Like something out of a cartoon, comic book, or anime. Once upon a time, it would have made Morty excited and smile. Now? It was just something else to learn about, some new data to examine and shelve for later use.

"Hmm. Some of these will come in handy," He said before he ventured out of the Welcome Center, not minding anyone he may bump into as he walked out with purpose.

Finally, he found himself in his new apartment. Small, quaint, and dull.

"Reminds me of my old room," He said as he sat on the bed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Need to find the method of transportation block. That could be very useful later. The ability to seal off an entire dimention from portal travel. Now that's interesting," He said aloud with a slight smile. He could completely seal off his home from the rest of the multiverse and reopen it when he wanted. A shield against that bastard old man.

"I think I might actually like it here."

Morty might need to hold that thought for a moment as his roommate literally walks through the door. Being a ghost, Wulf doesn't really need to use the door physically, especially not in his own den, and hasn't given a thought to the possibility of a roommate. So when he sees a kid in the place that's supposed to be his, the burly wolf's guard goes up as he fixes Morty with a suspicious gaze.

Striking up a conversation with Eren might result in the unfortunate incident of fairy bunnies bringing mistletoe. They seem to be following Eren around for a few minutes, trying to get him to stop and talk to someone.

He tries to (gently, for Eren) shoo one away, but of course it only comes back.

"What the hell is this stuff, anyway?" he asks someone nearby. He's not familiar with the mistletoe tradition so he doesn't get the point. Help him out. Or just kiss him (if you're an adult)!

Later, as he makes a half-assed attempt at making a wreath, he might seem visibly frustrated because he can't figure it out. (He's not very patient about it.)

"This isn't really going to bring lucky, right? It's not actually magic?"

How anyone talked Eren of all people into sunrise yoga is a mystery. But here he is! Is he actively taking part? No, he gives up on that and stands sort of spacing out with an alpaca. He obviously has a lot of negative energy, though the animal tolerates him. Bother him about it.

Try to get him to ice skate if you like but he's not going to be into it. He might be into water balloon painting though. Good way to get out aggression(?).

Some evenings catch him writing things on paper. He knows he can never forget; he lives too many things at once. But what the hell, right? Join him or talk to him before/during/after.

Mikasa never even tries to stop herself from melting into a happy, gentle, soft, and warm smile whenever she sees Eren. Well, except whenever it's a serious situation or something else, then obviously he gets something else as her reaction to seeing him. But every single day she's so happy and grateful that Eren's here.

This time she sees Eren trying to shoo the bunny away to make that smile even softer, and Mikasa helps him by distracting the bunny from going back to him. She picks it up for pets and other affection from her, though it might still escape sooner or later or maybe another one will follow Eren or Mikasa here sooner or later.

"They're mistletoes. For some reason, it's a tradition for everyone to kiss under them..."

Mikasa gives the bunny a look like oh honey no, that's not where this is going in their case.

"But I guess they'd also accept other forms of affection under them..."

She's going to make them accept it if they end up under one. Not that she ever even needs any excuse to show affection to Eren, she'll do that without any mistletoes too.

[ Mistletoe shenanigans are nothing new around here and last year was quite the spectacle. At least this year they aren't so...touchy?? But Shigeru is sad and that makes him a prime target for this type of thing. So it's with great reluctance and embarrassment that Shigeru is now trying to move away from said bunnies and their mistletoe. Only to be followed for what seems like blocks?! Please he doesn't want to smooch anyone this year, he just wants to be sad!!! ] P-Please go away!

[ He should have realized this was a bad idea, somehow his heart still isn't prepared even though it's been months since it happened. But the candle shows him Alex and Shigeru is just standing there with his hand clenched around that candle before he turns away and walks as fast as he can away from the apparition of him. There's that same throbbing in his chest as when he had come back to Ellipsa after being stabbed. Black streaks are coming from his eyes as he wipes away those inky tears with his gloved hands, staining them, but he hardly cares. His breathing is so very heavy and he feels like he's going to have a panic attack. ]
