[On the one hand, this really puts a dent in the whole primary objective thing. Killing Sonic - as in completely destroying him so Neo will prove himself to be the true Sonic - is impossible here. "Killing" him repeatedly may offer a lesser being some sort of sick satisfaction, but Neo Metal Sonic cannot experience sadism so we are thankfully spared from that. On the other hand, this is deeply fascinating and he wants to learn more.
