We're gathered here today to invite you to the second

✨ 4th Wall ✨

The Research Center has found a strange portal that is as big as Ellipsa is, even if normally portals are only the size of Madagascar. This portal dimension looks exactly like Ellipsa! Well, almost. Some things are very different. Even the famed Research Center is somehow upside down. The scientists have started calling this Dimension "Nega-Ellipsa". The scientists ask the otherworlders to investigate this portal and report back their findings.

During their investigations small portals will start appearing, bringing in people from other worlds. These can appear anywhere on the map, but luckily there are several teleportation nodes scattered all across Nega-Ellipsa to guide back to the city... or somewhere else, it's not really a guarantee.

These people cannot leave the portal dimension and access the real Ellipsa, no matter what methods they try. For now they're stuck in this portal, but at least every visitor is given all abilities, even the dragon-blessed ones. Even if they might occasionally work in a strange, reverse manner like a lot of other things in the dimension do.

The reverse is true for those who belong to Ellipsa; they can't access the portals the visitors have come from, even if it would be their own world. However it does seem something else is threatening to enter these portals; the dark energy that makes up the Darkness.

4th Wall will be posted on March 13th and it will last until March 31st!

Notes

Before engaging in the 4th wall it's a good idea to read the rules and maybe check other information about the setting! Characters may be visiting a warped version of the game setting, but many elements of the real one still apply.

Please respect player preferences! Death may not be permanent for the 4th wall visitors, but not everyone wants to have their characters killed.

As always with public posts, writing smut is prohibited in the 4th wall posts! Please move any such content to another place, like the characters' journals!

Can anyone participate in the 4th wall?
Yes.

Do you need an invite to play in the 4th wall?
No. If you decide you want to join Seasons, they will need an invitation for that separately.

Do I need to join the communities?
No. The 4th wall post will be in the seasonsgreetings community.

Are doubles of existing characters allowed on the 4th wall?
We have a "Opt In" comment where current players can allow others to bring in doubles of their characters. Otherwise, we ask you not to do that.

Do I need to nerf my character?
Since the 4th wall happens in a portal dimension, any damage there doesn't affect the actual world. So no nerfing save for game-breaking abilities like allowing the existing characters to return to their worlds.

Can characters in the game leave and re-enter the dimension?
Yes.

If you app a character after 4th wall can they remember what happened during it?
They can, but they feel almost like a weird, blurry dream rather than something that actually happened at first. They can either remember everything as time goes by or just be left with the somewhat blurry memories of the events.

Will existing characters remember everything that happens?
Yes.

I just wanna make sure I can do a thing for plotting purposes. Would it be cool if one of the characters I bring in turns two of my other ones to stone just to create stakes for their CR? This would be accomplished via tricking other characters into delivering curses roses to mine so there would be no direct character contact.

Just want to make sure before I finalize anything.

ABOUT: Tobias is the second son of his parents, Alexander and Maude McLaufferty, and the younger twin of Tyrone McLaufferty. At least, that's what he thought for the longest time. Tobias is very much a good person as he was made to be the "perfect little brother." In truth, Tobias is a Fetch. A person created from random objects and imbued with life by a True Fae. The True Fae took a piece of the soul of the original Tobias McLaufferty and used it to bring this Tobias to life after crafting him out of toys from a toy chest and a bear trap.

He went most of his life believing the lie his life was built upon. It wasn't until his time in Chicago working undercover in the Pentex Acquisitions Department that he discovered he was not human. He has had to wrestle with being a creature to replace someone, inadvertently stealing their life, and coming to terms with what he is.

Now Tobias is very much grounded in who and what he is. He works to help his friends and find the person he loves most in a world that seems to have changed drastically since he was last on Earth. That tends to be what happens when you end up serving another True Fae for over two hundred years since they saved your life, quote unquote.

Event Plans: Wolf's definitely going to try to go back "home" briefly to gather intel and maybe plot against overthrowing Shinou/The Great One/The Original/True King's ever-constant influence from the inside, but Wolf will quickly realize Something's Up if the others are acting differently. Meanwhile, for anyone aware of the canon, I once had this write-up of prominent Shin Makoku locations surrounding the castle for a different game's fourth wall event - the same can be visited here (and I might expand on the areas later if someone has a specific request!)
* Yuuri's real-world home of Earth/Yuuri's Japan cannot be visited during this event at least from my end, sorry, only Shin Makoku!!
* I'm not sure it might be different if someone else wants to try Yuuri too??--

Other: There may or may not be a Not!??Yuuri CR?AU lurking Wolfram's mind too... but he only "comes out" a. when allowed, notably during events and b. in very obvious fourth-wall scenarios like these, where he will very much be acting A Little Differently
to the Yuuri we know and love. c. if Wolfram's life is clearly in danger and seemingly imminent death can still be prevented.

Sakura, personality-wise wise is generally rather similar to her CCS counterpart in being bubbly and friendly, energetic, and still with feelings for Syaoran that develop over the course of the series, given she loses her memories at the start of the series. She can get anxious over her companion's safety, given the dangerous situations they face in obtaining her feathers/memories, though.

As a cavalier, her role is to defend her necromancer physically while enabling his work, and Camilla embodies this duty with exceptional discipline, deadly swordsmanship, and unwavering devotion. She is known for being quiet, observant, and intensely competent—someone who speaks little but notices everything. Beneath her stoic exterior, however, is a deep loyalty and care for Palamedes and those she trusts, making her one of the most steadfast and reliable characters. Dark Leonardo - TMNT Fast Forward

ABOUT: He's more of a dick than Dick is /shot

Okay okay, so in the series Dark Leo is from the TMNT were sent into the future and are living with April and Casey's great-grandson Cody Jones who is the heir of O'Neil Tech Cody's uncle, Darius Dun, wants O'Neil Tech for himself Dark Leonardo and the other dark TMNT are under his orders to go after the other TMNT so he can take care of Cody and take over the company for himself.

Dark Leonardo is the leader of the cloned turtles who are like the originals with all their negative traits turned up to over nine thousand.

He remembers Leonardo choosing to be the leader of the original Turtles, and yet Dark Leo was forced into the position of leader of the Dark Turtles. He remembers the original Turtles as loving brothers while he has to fight with his own brothers for food. This has left him angry and resentful, a growling and snarling bully who enjoys venting his frustrations on others and using fear to control them when he can't control himself.

He also got sent to the city of Nautilus (The DWRP game The Wake) where he got a taste of freedom instead of always being under Dun's boot, He accepted a job with Bowser Jr...Tolerated Asriel and was an acquaintance of one Relius Clover.

Event Plans: Cole will be busy having all of the emotional torment. His boyfriend from home has shown up again which lets him have a moment of safety. But his owner has also turned up so he will be at her whim for as much of the event as she deems necessary. He's going to distance himself from as much of everything dear to himself as possible to protect people, especially the ones he loves, but will have to deal with Mike Lorelief and Max Davies turning to stone and Macaque being killed while fighting the Queen.

I'm open to plotting with him, whether it's new faces or people he knows trying to help or just refusing to let him withdraw. He's been taking a lot of steps in opening up to people properly and having healthier relationships. He's due for a sharp backslide.
