About My Character: Take the tropes and presentation of idol anime and apply them to DJs who play and perform in units, adding their own vocals and instruments to create original songs and covers. Rinku is the centre of one such unit. Sunshine and joy personified, a lot gullible and a little stupid, very worried about the bad situations people have come in from, extremely worried about the rare times that this world gets too dangerous, and full of all kinds of love.
...Well, and now she's a swordfighting, fire-slinging giraffe kemonomimi who wants to kiss everyone.
CR I'm Looking For:
🥯Rinku has been training to learn magic and combat for years now and has gotten a lot stronger! She'll train with anyone who asks, even if she mostly learns from Evangeline, and is open to teach other people now too.
🥯She's the happiest person in Ellipsa, super friendly, and extremely affectionate. If you need someone to hug or hold your hand so you don't die, call her up.
🥯Romance? Dates? Smut? Any combination of the above, because Rinku doesn't just attach to everyone as friends. Anyone in her general age bracket (and otherwise, in some situations) is open for snuggles, kisses, flirting, and more. She's worried in the past that she loves so many people that she doesn't think actually getting into relationships would be fair, but has opened up to that again now... despite the odd "no, you can't date Literally Everyone" chiding. That said, she's also still open to doing these things without relationships, it's only fair.
🥯Rinku revived the Music Club and runs it out of Shining Karaoke! Anyone is welcome to practise, work on their WIPs, and talk shop, and the Music Club sometimes runs or helps out with concerts and events.
🥯Have you changed noticeably over time in game/CRAU? So has she! She could use a little help on that. Same with "how do you sit or lay down with a tail" advice.
🥯Rinku describes herself as "nature's friend," knows a surprising amount about animals, tends to get friendly reactions from them, speaks fluent monkey, and knows how to forage. Anyone related to the wilderness or animals might get along with her!
Plots I'm Looking For:
💽Basically I want her to keep having fun and spreading happiness, even if sometimes it's hard. And to reinforce her decision that she wants to be both her past/canon self in that life and her current self in this one, no matter how hard that might be.
💽Always looking for adventure plots! Explorations, quests, player plots, you name it. However, I tend to avoid crossing the grimdark line and am far more inclined towards wholesome adventures and daring bloodless rescues than trauma and torture.
💽Anyone who knows any of her partners, come meet her and help her figure out how relationships work when you're on the extreme end of polyamorous.
💽Rinku is helping to run the Arts Festival this year! Thread with others when the log goes live! Sign characters up right now for the tournaments and activities! Especially the Baby Hippogriff Cup, numbers are low for that one, you know you want your characters who have been in game three months or less to get in on that --
Handwaving: Rinku hangs around Summer Guild a lot, works at Shining Karaoke, and frequents various beaches, water parks, and food stands in Solarpeak, as well as the arcades in Nightwake. She also regularly buys snacks and pet toys for her chameleon (and her Pokémon; she may view them as kids but they still like playing with the pet supplies), as well as music supplies. And she frequents the Otherworlder Merch Store!

About My Character:
Formerly humanity's strongest soldier (good luck with the mantle, Mikasa!). Went through a retirement arc (though he would still go out and do quests for money and whatever fighting Ellipsa needs to be saved), however at the moment he's having some sort of a midlife/widowment/emptynester crisis and going harder on fighting again.
Used to be a thug in the underground slums before joining the military. Has shitty sense of humor and slightly neurotic cleaning tendencies. Persevering tea enthusiast. Grumpy and awkward, but soft on the inside; kind to the downtrodden and loyal to his people, while also scarily efficient at dispatching enemies when needed.
CR I'm Looking For:
It would be great if he can make some more friends, especially around his own age, but also I'm down for him to take up a mentorship role for someone younger, and I'm good with negative CR - some enemies/frienemies/people with general distaste of him are bound to be a thing considering his everything (that people who know him well tend to write off as cute quirks). I'd also love for him to get more crosscanon CR!
Quest partners, people who could convince him to be sociable or drag him places, sparring partners, fellow veterans or bitching enthusiasts, tea lovers, annoyances, insomniacs, pain havers, impressionable youth to impart his wisdom and expletives-filled sense of humor on, lost ducklings in need of herding, people who want him to teach them more about winter powers, nerds who need someone to yap at, I'm open to ideas really! :D
Plots I'm Looking For:
Again, I'm not picky! Love action/drama/adventure and character driven stuff as well as bigger plots, love things that relate to the game lore and overarching plot, and then I'm also always down for wacky mundane shenanigans too. Always there for "why are you guys acting like this is normal???" whenever normal people meet him without context lol... My favorite things are humor and dark shit, basically, either separately or together. Also my goal is basically a retirement arc for Levi and he's having that, so all is well. He'll probably be opening a tea shop at some point (when I get to it orz).
I'm also down for him to have cameos in other threads so if you need someone to come in and kick your blorbos to keep the peace or just stare in awkward silence while an anime crow flies overhead that's a possibility too.
Also I love explorations so as long as he's got an excuse to be there I'll gladly throw him at any!!
Handwaving:
He lives an active semi-retiree life and can be found around town (grocery, cleaning supplies and tea shops especially), in a park somewhere, or training in Dayrise Colosseum (he oversees Jean's training at least once a week, still). He has continuous physical therapy for his leg in the Research/Medical center a couple times a week. He lives in Coldreach with Farlan (
He does plenty of quests, especially if they have a high payout, and doesn't shy away from more risky ones! He also enjoys exploration and is part of the Odyssey organization group, which includes chaperoning less experienced adventurers. It's very easy to run into him via either of those options.
For people unfamiliar with him, he probably comes off as a grumpy but kind old millennial-aged man, someone closed off or maybe even a bit cold, unless he's helping you with something in which case his natural warmth peeks through the layer of awkward roughness and crude humor. He never introduces himself with his full name unless it's for something official - so if they've met in passing, your character would likely just know him as Levi.

About My Character:
War hero turned fugitive turned isekai adventurer. Rebel leader. Samurai, though not in the stuffy traditional sense. Loves animals, soap operas and soba. Inclined toward the dramatics. Has big PTSD mostly centered around war, loneliness and helplessness, and is a bit emotionally unstable. Usually acts very prim and proper and polite, but can turn into a petty menace very quickly. Ultimately he's on the good side of things, despite his affinity for bombs. He's a lot smarter than he usually comes off, and is considered one of the Legendary Generals of the Joui Wars. While his specialty were defensive battles and efficient retreats rather than anything to do with the front light, he can fight, but will only do it when absolutely necessary and generally prefers diplomacy or blackmail to solve disputes.

CR I'm Looking For: Anything honestly! Give him friends (especially girl friends tbh... make Girls' Night big!!), fellow nerds, fellow rebels/clowns/vigilantes, literature or poetry (or soap opera, or cheesy werewolf romance, or k-pop) appreciators, paw bean and/or duck enthusiasts, people who think he's weird or rude or just have a bone to pick with him.
Plots I'm Looking For:
Again, just about anything right now! Give me the hilarious interpersonal plots and overlapping CR and petty prank wars and intense emotional developments and action scenes in quests and catfishing plots and chain email scams and whatever else! My long term goal is probably to have him move further away from the whole rebelling thing (mostly because it's largely unnecessary in Ellipsa...) and more toward teaching so he can finally complete his character arc (protecting his mentor's legacy), but I'm not in a rush about it!
