I'm a dorky Canadian who works in retail, used to travel the world competing in Smash Bros. tournaments, and now spends his days (for now) working, coming home, doing Genshin Dailies, RPing where I can (forgive my speed ;;), sleep, repeat. About My Character: Cloud is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VII Remake. He touts himself as a former member of SOLDIER, an elite military group for the biggest megacorporation on the Planet, Shinra. Now working in Midgar as a mercenary, Cloud presents himself as cold and uncaring about anything else but the money he makes for his skills. However, it doesn't take long for people to see that this is a shoddily upkept front. At his heart, Cloud is fiercely loyal to not just his friends, but also protective of anyone in trouble. Over time, while Cloud keeps a lot of his cool demeanor, softening up also reveals that he's a bit of a dork without meaning to, and with some hesitation will go outside of his comfort zone to accomplish goals.

Time will tell what kind of a person Cloud will become the more he learns about not just the world around him, but the truth about himself.

SPOILERS AHEAD - CRAU RELATED

After spending almost an entire year in another land called Nippon, Cloud has since discovered and restored all of his memories that were once locked away from himself. Despite learning that he never made it into SOLDIER after all, and realizing the truth behind what happened to him after the Nibelheim Incident, Cloud's finally begun to come into his own as a person. More mature. Warmer. Less of a jerk.

Still a socially awkward dork at times.

CR I'm Looking For:

• Rivals! It can either be friendly rivalries or more antagonistic ones. But either way, since Cloud is an adventurer for the Spring Guild, it can even be competitions for various quests. Or good ol' sparring.

• Friends! Cloud's got a softer heart even if he's not the most "OMG HI" social person out there.

• People for him to get in trouble with. 'u'

Plots I'm Looking For:

JUST GONNA PLOTBARF THINGS IN HERE BUT LIKE,

• Angst maybe? Cloud's made a choice that if he was to choose between a life in his canon world or to go to Inazuma to be with his girlfriend, that he'd choose the latter. But that's also a heavy decision to make since he wants to try accomplishing both tasks. He has unfinished business back home (the Remake series pls) but CRAU helped Ayaka win the Cloudbowl. Idk if this'll be an issue for long but. If it hangs around in his thoughts, hurt/comfort or talking things out. Angst can also tie into getting hurt or injured or helping someone else with their own hurt too. Stuff like that. Let Cloud try to be soft to you.

• Honestly now that IRL is becoming less crazy and I got less on my plate? I wanna actually pay attention to the Quests and go out on more adventures with people! A camping trip would be super cute to play out sometime, even if it's because they're going on a serious quest or something into one of the regions.

• In due time, Cloud's probably going to move out with the Kamisatos from the apartments, but in doing so, he'll also finally launch his own business! I wanna get Cloud a motorcycle someday so he can finally tackle the whole Strife Delivery Service thing. Once I get that started, it'll be perfect to establish CR I think with him being a delivery boy! Also potential races if he gets a sweet ride. OvO

• Honestly? Anything! I like wholesome slice of life moments, bonding time, even creating handwaved background moments to help our characters along if it helps us get to cooler and sweeter stuff too.

anyway, i have inaba (the scp variant, which. makes it funny because she uh.......got a replica buster sword at One Point in her crau, no joke) but i also have mafuyu here who i joke about basically having a lot of themes similar to sakura matou from fate/ who has a friend that is basically female emiya shirou.

so like, i can totally slide angst on the table once we have established stuff, although it might be more prevalent with her next month when i canon update her because she Went Through Some Shit.

I was actually talking with Yuri's player in DMs for it, but I'll relay the same quests to you, too! ... actually hold on as I literally write this I remembered one that's got me going "oya :eyes:"

Bridge of the Lost and seeing themselves in one another, forcing a truth from one another is an idea. Ghost busting with the "Who You Gonna Call" prompt would be interesting to do, too! Cloud lowkey gets the creeps around ghouly stuff. But he'll brave things and get the job done. What about you!

since neither of them can actually see ghosts the who you gonna call one will be tough SDGKSDGK which could be hilarious in a way... as they get stuck in a bin together--

but if you would rather something more serious we could do the bridge of the lost one!!! let's talk about how cloud is a bad reminder of his first days of being clan leader and he stumbled over everything and almost got eaten alive by other officials :)

Omg yes?! I've been thinking about it for a while now. And now that I'm getting back on track RP-wise, I wanna follow through with more of this stuff. ;;

Cloud's very familiar with Lumine, but he's learning that unless called out for it, he's probably going to do his best to pretend that any encounters here are fresh ones. He's fond of her! And the very last time he ever saw her, he was helping her find her brother.

She's never met Cloud on her end, BUT she's very familiar with the song and dance of pretending you don't remembers folks. :'D I'm not sure she'd have reason to suspect he's pretending otherwise, but we can see how it goes. Either way, she's eager to meet him.

Yeah! Their first meeting wasn't a bad one, but the way things happened he wanted to see her again so he could try starting over and having a normal encounter. (Jikan was the land of spice so hides face in hands.) Do you think it'd be easier as a quest? I know that the festival is coming up real quick. So there could be ample chance to have them meet and thread there, too!

SDKJLA I'm glad he's entertaining. Venti and Cloud CR sounds like it could be an absolute hoot! I have a burning need. ;; Since Cloud is learning wind magic and then some thanks to his affiliation with Spring, that'd be a neat thing to play off of with Venti in some way!

But also more importantly, based on the past CR being in the beginning stages, Cloud could make good on what he told the last Venti and find a way to share some of his world's music with him.
