Yes please!!! Gosh I am so sad these two never got to meet. There could have been so many interesting possibilities to stem from their meeting.

Same! There was so much potential there. Oh well, we'll just have to see that potential through ourselves :D

Do you have anything in mind? If nothing else, we can use something from the TDM or whatever event happens next.

Taking a look at the TDM ones that could be fun: wish granting, having mochi together, fighting off monsters in a portal, or maybe we could have them end up doing a quest together.

Aside those prompts just a first meeting without any extraneous events occurring could be good if we wanted something with more friction since Ysayle would be pretty wary of Aymeric at first. She'll know at this point that he had been brief about all they learned and that he ended up imprisoned because he intended to try and make his father see reason but years of having been on sorta-opposite sides of the war would be hard to break immediately.

That said sharing a cause that involved helping others would make that go easier, I think. The first two prompts would be trickier but we could always say they don't immediately recognize each other.

Oh yeah for sure, Aymeric is going to have a very conflicted moment when he recognizes her for the same reasons. I like the idea of them sharing a cause together to break the ice (har har har). So, maybe them fighting portal monsters? Nothing like the camaraderie of battle lol.
