Character Name: Princess Namaari of Fang

About My Character: The strong, determined heir to the kingdom of Fang, a small nation that once was part of a unified nation called Kumandra. Though at first glance Namaari seems ruthless and heartless, she's... well okay she's ruthless. Fang is known for their assassins, and Namaari is an extremely skilled warrior because of this. She's blunt, snarky, quick to anger and quicker to fight, but beneath that hard, sharp exterior is someone who's actually deeply compassionate. She has a soft spot for kids and strives to do what's best for her people, who have suffered harshly in the past. She is also deeply reverent of dragons and the culture in her world that once worshiped them, holding strong to the stories of old even as they've mostly faded in the public eye.

She's also a deeply conflicted young woman, having been one of the lynchpins in causing what was more or less the apocalypse in her world several years ago. She realized she fucked up big time and wants to do good for the world in an attempt to make up for her past sins, but struggles with this versus her desire to keep all of Fang safe from threats - both Druun and human.

CR I'm Looking For: Warriors! People to spar with! People who can actually help her process her guilt. Namaari's used to being basically the most hated person in the world outside of her kingdom, so just getting her friends in general could be a good step to her being a bit less prickly.
Plots I'm Looking For: Nothing right now! I just wanna get her settled and see where the game takes her.

Other: can y'all believe disney made a character this intensely gay i mean look at her i'm still not over this design

No but I'm seriously excited to see Namaari haha. She even knows more than Sisu or Raya do. Still, Sisu will do their best to ensure Namaari and Raya get a long!!

god i'm not sure if namaari will feel more or less guilty that sisu doesn't know about the whole. shooting her thing. hopefully things won't get too bad if that ever gets out

Yes is an absolutely valid answer! Also knowing Sisu she would be shook, but then likely understand with enough context and forgive. Both her and Raya. ~~Just forgives her without context.~~

It's been FOREVER, I'm so glad and excited, that you're here!! I ... play a canon female idol too (Hoshina Utau from Shugo Chara!), who I could throw at Kanade!! But you know, I'll throw anyone at her too, looks at someone like Anna, who is not an idol in canon but Disney makes her randomly sing... Namaari can spar with most of mine and be friends with any of them! Even this girl even if it's hilariously most difficult with Raya, when she's from earlier in the movie as you know but still.

Kanade actually knows and gets along with an idol in her canon so it'd be a nice lil reminder from home if she met Utau!! Her style of music is... totally different (like uhhh this and this) but she digs all kinds of music, so it's v easy to bond with her over it.

(honestly anna would be good for her too considering she knows how damaging being locked away for most of your life is. please help this girl learn to go outside more, sob)

I was actually never in mayfield but.... I remember us being at ROUTE at the same time, so it has still been FOREVER AND EVER!! It sure is wild, that we've never crossed paths after that despite having each other in plurk ever since then???

Utau also digs all kinds of music and she's going to make all kinds of music herself here too as a solo artist, so they'll be a great combo for sure!! (also ah, those videos, haven't listened to any vocaloid music in forever but i used to live with someone, who listened / played it a lot.)

oh the vocaloid music in that game is great. Like they do a ton of covers of actual songs in addition to commissioned stuff with the vocaloids as backup and even if you don't ever fully play the game, i totally recommend checking the music out. It's what got me into vocaloid tbh.

Ahahahaa, I used to live with someone, who played so much vocaloid music in our apartment without me having anywhere to escape from it, that i honestly used to hate it .... BUT baby steps back to it, I've listened to some songs through the years after I stopped living with that person too. I don't hate it anymore, lol.

I'm gonna save responding with Venus to Kanade until I've actually apped her in (hopefully in the next hour or two??) BUT: Binah has a thing for warrior types. Like, the one person she respects enough to refer to by name for a long time is a deeply compassionate mercenary woman who looks like this??? She'd also fit against Namaari's past in interesting ways, having been a state-sponsored assassin in "her past life." (It's complicated.)

Basically if you'd like Namaari to have someone evenly matched to spar with while talking like Rose Lalonde and Hannibal Lecter had a baby, Binah's your gal!!!

god i am so canonblind but that sounds like SUCH an amazing combination and just. character in general. I'm absolutely down for it.

she's an absolute girlboss. her body count is probably in the thousands and she cut off that warrior's arm before getting trapped in loop hell for like a thousand years. anyway project moon is a perfectly normal canon you should come check it out :)
